The SeaPort Next Generation (SeaPort NxG) multiple award contracts (MACs) were awarded in December 2018 to replace the Department of the Navy’s highly successful SeaPort Enhanced (SeaPort-e) MACs, first awarded in May 2004. MRC is proud to have been selected as one of those original SP-e prime contractors. Over the 15-year duration of contract N00178-04-D-4083, MRC was awarded over 50 prime contractor task orders for services at NUWC Newport, NUWC Keyport, and NSWC Corona.

Under MRC’s SeaPort NxG contract, N0017819D8089, which has an ordering period of five years from the effective date of award, 2 January 2019, MRC remains qualified to continue to provide services that potentially span the entire spectrum of mission areas and technical capabilities supported by the following DoN ordering activities: Naval Sea Systems Command; Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command; Naval Supply Systems Command; Military Sealift Command; Naval Facilities Command; Office of Naval Research; and U.S. Marine Corps. Services that MRC may provide under SeaPort NxG are categorized into two major categories, which may be performed for new and existing product areas, programs, or missions assigned to these activities during the life of the contract:

This category also includes all support required within the area of environmental engineering of U.S. Navy weapon systems and base-related infrastructure. Functional areas under this category include, but are not limited to, the following:

This category represents an integration of a complex system of differing but related functional disciplines that must work together to achieve program goals through development, production, deployment, operations, support, and disposal. Functional areas under the Program Management Services category include, but are not limited to, the following:
    • Functional & Direct Programmatic Administrative Support
