ASSISTANT FACILITY SECURITY OFFICER (Ref. #1891-TD)
MRC has an opening for a full-time qualified candidate who will be responsible to provide support to the Facility Security Officer (FSO) to ensure compliance with the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) requirements.
Daily tasks include: on-board new/debrief exiting employees; conduct security briefings and track mandatory training; initiate new clearance/periodic re-investigation requests and track clearance progress; file maintenance; data entry; document inventory; submit visit requests; monitor e-mail for action items; submit asset requests to government customers (Badges, DBIDS, CAC etc.); review/prepare DD254s; SAARn forms; TASS forms; maintain records in various government databases (e.g., JPAS/DISS/NISS/NCAISS/eVerify); visitor control; end of day security checks; assist with self-inspections and preparation for DSS Assessments; act on behalf of FSO in absentia and other administrative duties as required.
