COMMUNICATIONS ASSISTANT (Ref.#1885-DR)

McLaughlin Research Corporation has a full-time opening contingent upon contract award. MRC is seeking a Communications Assistant to support Corporate Communications for the Code 103 Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division.

Proven ability to support employee communication programs and products, media relations programs, community relations, special events, and provide photography support. 

Position Requirements: 

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET Security Clearance.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications field, public relations, or marketing and two (2) years of related experience
  • OR six (6) year related experience in the field for public relation, public affairs or journalism related with experience in research, conducting interviews, writing, editing, and obtaining release/approval for articles, feature stories, news releases, and statements, including electronic, web based, and hard copy material.
