MRC is currently looking for a Computer Engineer responsible for providing software programming support to command and control (C2) systems at Naval Undersea Warfare Center. An ideal candidate will have experience in gaming with a gaming mindset, graphics, 3D visualizations, and android development. The incumbent will develop code modules for integration, and provide software expertise to ensure that software issues are addressed and resolved as the system evolves through various programmatic phases. The incumbent will assist in the tracking of requirements, schedule, and performance relative to the program software baseline. He/She will also, support the development, review and implementation of Software Design Document development, Interface Requirements Specifications and Interface Design Documents for Program Software Configuration.

Required Qualifications: Applicants must have an active, or be eligible for, US Government Secret security clearance. Candidates must possess the following skills/experience: computer science, JAVA, LINUX, C++, software/algorithm development, and software support.
Preferred Qualifications: Object Oriented Software Engineering, Embedded System Development, Networking, OpenGL / 3D Visualization, API design, Bug tracking / Version Control, a team player with good communication skills, and a forward thinker able to anticipate problems and recommend solutions.
Education: Computer Scientist Degree or equivalent.
