Job Description

Provide Configuration management support for the torpedo program at NUWC. Support will include the review and development of Engineering Change Proposals and the tracking of implementation of the change documentation. Support will also include the maintenance of the data in the CMPro configuration management tool including the status of changes, documentation approvals and the verification and development of baselines. Compile, edit and prepare status reports and baselines as required by NUWCDIVNPT schedules. Research change documentation in support of inquiries. Review and enter all new Technical Data Packages into the CMPro database.

Background in any/all of the following is preferred:

Required Qualifications:

  • Several years of experience supporting a DoD technical program.
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret Security clearance.
  • Must have excellent communication skills.
  • Familiarity with database driven applications.
  • Strong Microsoft office background.

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of CM to include EIS-649 and Mil-STD-31000.
  • Direct experience in the field of torpedo systems.
  • Working knowledge of CMPro database.
  • Existing clearance is a plus.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.
