GENERAL CLERK II (Ref. #1777) (AG)

MRC seeks a Full-Time General Clerk to Operate and maintain the NAVSEA Keyport Tech Doc Center, Technical Manual Repository, and Combat Procedures.  Update the Naval Ships Engineering Drawing Repository (NSEDR) with new/revised drawings, daily refiles and requested aperture cards.  Scan new/revised drawings, daily files and requested drawings.  Prepare electronic data loads, verify NSEDR database for duplications, QA for quality and completeness.  Maintain aperture card files, order missing drawings, inventory, receive and distribute new drawings.

 

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Must obtain a DoD secret security clearance prior to starting
  • Due to the requirement to access and input information into classified data systems, accuracy, organization and attention to detail are essential in performing this work.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (emphasis: Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Familiarity with Access Databases
  • Familiarity with Naval Message System, Lightweight Torpedoes and Technical Data Package compilation and review preferred
