Job Description


Actively seeking a Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) Mechanic to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Corona Division Facilities Department Code 102 at Norco, CA.  This is a Full-time position and requires the candidate to be a U.S. citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Secret security clearance.


Required Qualifications


  • Install, modify and repair HVAC systems, chillers, and air Handlers


  • Test, calibrate, and adjust temperature control and environmental control systems


  • Install new or repaired components and perform complex modifications of systems and components


  • Perform complex repair of systems components such as compressors, condensers, heat pumps regulators, fluid and refrigerant gas lines valves, meters, gages, thermostats, pumps, mechanical linkage, and electrical sensing, switching and controlling devices including pneumatic controls, variable speed drives, digital controlled devices, electronic, hydraulic heating and cooling and economizer systems


  • Perform periodic maintenance of install equipment and components


Required Qualifications

  • Ability to obtain and hold DoD Secret security clearance.
  • Must have excellent customer service skills
  • Clean driving record
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
