Successful applicant must possess skills & abilities necessary to support a full range of tasks, be self-motivated, mature, focused and ambitious. Duties will include technical writing, editing and analyst for the technical manuals populating the TOMAHAWK All-Up-Round Logistics and Maintenance Technical Information Products (TALMIP) for the United States Navy, and for the technical manuals populating the Royal Navy TALMIP. Liaison with subject matter experts and test missile system operators to develop measures of effectiveness, technical procedures, and data collection instruments. Possess extensive knowledge of technical data management processes and routinely conduct analyses of fleet requirements. Possess detailed knowledge of all logistics functions. Review, investigate and analyze field trouble reports from the web-based ECMFR reporting system, used by fleet and field personnel to alert NUWCDIVNPT personnel of problems encountered with the TOMAHAWK or its associated support equipment. Conduct trend analysis for recurring problems, assist in scheduling required repairs, disseminate required information to PMA-280, depot level, and other fleet personnel, and check on status of problem areas and repair efforts. Coordinate with other NUWCDIVNPT branches in identifying causes of problems encountered, coordinate solutions, and conduct required cost analysis to identify appropriate responses.
