Immediate opening for Mechanical Engineer in support of Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC). The successful candidate will work as a member of the engineering team to provide technical support to a variety of Naval programs. Primary responsibilities include 3D modeling of mechanical components and assemblies, preparation of detailed assembly drawing packages, performing stress analysis calculations, and designing arrangement and installation drawings to mount equipment on submarine and surface ship platform. Additional duties will include finite element analysis, tolerance stackups, and generation and review of engineering documentation packages (drawings, analyses technical manuals and specifications) for completeness and accuracy. Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance is required.
