Job Description

MRC provides professional engineering services spanning the entire life cycle of systems, equipment, and facilities. Our mechanical, electrical, chemical, and civil engineering services range from conceptual studies though operational support to disposal and demilitarization, and in particular include design and development of modifications to in-service systems/equipment for incorporation of product improvement changes, reliability improvement changes, and functional capability upgrades.

 

We are currently seeking an SQL Database Programmer for our location in Norco, CA.

 

The Database Programmer’s Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Working with SQL Server 2012 or later.
  • Create, maintain, and design company production data and DBMS based products. This includes SQL coding, planning and documenting the system.
  • Create scripts and SSIS packages for data integration, maintenance or bug fixes.
  • Write SQL statements and procedures for data manipulation and report generation (SSRS).
  • Fundamental skills in data analysis and data modeling.
  • Create the necessary technical and architectural documentation.
  • Assist in conducting analysis for the development of new systems and modifications of existing systems.
  • Ensure the integrity and security of the data.
  • Provide support to end users and customers with software-related issues or problems as necessary
  • Develop standards, process flows and tools that promote and facilitate the mapping of data sources, documenting interfaces and data movement across the enterprise.Provide architectural solutions covering data structures, sourcing, integration, security, and retention

 

Required Qualifications

U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a security clearance required; current clearance a plus. Qualified
Well-developed skills in MS SQL Server Database programming language (T-SQL)
Minimum 1 year of experience as a programmer in a corporate environment.

Know SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Report Services (SSRS).

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Preferred Qualifications:
    Well-developed skills with SQL Server and/or MDM
    Solid and proven experience with complex queries
  • Experience with Microsoft .NET framework (C#, VB.NET) is a HUGE plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, innovative, and proactive
  • Organized and capable of multitasking
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
