Job Description
Background in any/all of the following is preferred:


Experience with providing specialized procurement advice and preparing documentation at the pre-award phase to include market research, acquisition strategy, appropriate contract formation & management, strategic sourcing and proposal evaluations. Drafting documents in support of Contracting Officer to complete price or cost analysis. Providing analysis of various acquisition strategies to include but not limited to FAR Part 8, 12, 13, 15 and interagency contracts (GWAC/MAC). The candidate should have extensive knowledge and experience with performance based service acquisition requirements and processes. Experience with multiple contract types (Cost, FFP, LH, T&M, CPAF) to include FSS GSA and IDIQ multiple award contracts. Developing and working knowledge of GSA GWAC/Mobis/Alliant contracting vehicles is highly desirable. Focus in Acquisition and Contract Management highly desired. The candidate will provide support to ensure compliance with Federal statutes, the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) and various DoD and Agency policies


Bachelor’s (BA/BS) degree required. (Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field preferred). 15 years of contracting experience as a contracts specialist, contracting officer or acquisition program manager with DoD highly desired. Specialized experience in pre-award acquisition processes for service contracts desired. DAWIA Level II Certification in contracting or equivalent industry certification. Active SECRET clearance required with the eligibility to obtain and maintain Top Secret clearance, if required.

Preferred Certifications:

DAWIA Level III certified, Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) or Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM).

U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a security clearance required; current clearance a plus.


Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.
