This position will involve engineering and technical support for an undersea and combat systems repair depot and its cadre of skilled engineers and technicians, and may include rapid prototyping and fabrication; test and evaluation of undersea warfare systems; and in-service engineering for anti-submarine and USW weapons and vehicles.

The ideal candidate will have an understanding of military specifications and requirements, drawings and other documents used to support military systems. An understanding or experience with reverse engineering of obsolete components (electrical and mechanical), configuration management, and production level documentation is highly desirable.
A bachelor of science or higher degree in an engineering discipline (electrical engineering, electronics engineering, mechanical engineering, computer engineering or industrial engineering) is required. Seven or more years of experience is required leading technical teams throughout the engineering lifecycle with activities, including technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk assessment, and supportability and effectiveness analysis for total systems. U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a security clearance required; current clearance a plus.
