TECHNICAL WRITER (#1855-DR)
MRC has an immediate opening for a full time Technical Writer supporting the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport.
In support of a new initiative, the qualified candidate will help write, edit and develop technical documentation, test plans, specification documentation, standard operating procedures, wiki, articles, presentation, and other communication products at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport. Focus areas include information technology and cloud computing.
The candidates should have the experience and ability to write detailed technology documentation and transcribe the content into stories for a broad audience that will be published on Navy knowledge managements web sites and social media. This position may require one-on-one interviewing, attending presentations and meetings, and online research as well as an ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts.
