MRC + Barber-Nichols, LLC + Graham Corporation: Building a Stronger Future Together
MRC is pleased to announce a new Strategic Alliance with Barber-Nichols, LLC + Graham Corporation
This relationship brings together complementary capabilities across the full defense technology lifecycle — from identification of an operational need through engineering, technology development, manufacturing, integration, fleet introduction, and sustainment.
Graham brings advanced engineering, manufacturing excellence, product innovation, production engineering, assembly and integration expertise, qualification testing, and technology maturation. MRC brings deep Navy customer relationships, operational insight, systems and digital engineering, software and autonomy, operational analysis, technology transition, fleet integration, and lifecycle sustainment.
Together, we intend to accelerate the transition of innovative technologies into operational capability, strengthen America’s maritime industrial base, expand Assembly, Integration, and Test capabilities, and develop next-generation undersea and autonomous maritime systems.
Our initial collaboration will be through Barber-Nichols, LLC, a Graham Corporation business with deep experience in highly engineered turbomachinery, advanced energy systems, and mission-critical hardware for demanding applications. That capability provides a particularly strong complement to MRC’s undersea, engineering, integration, and fleet-support work, with opportunities to expand collaboration across other Graham business units as the relationship develops.
Together, we intend to accelerate the transition of innovative technologies into operational capability, strengthen America’s maritime industrial base, expand Assembly, Integration, and Test capabilities, and develop next-generation undersea and autonomous maritime systems.
This is not simply about pursuing individual contracts. It is about building complementary capabilities that allow us to solve harder problems and move technology from concept to the Fleet faster.
We look forward to working with Matthew Malone, Michael Dixon, P.E., and the Barber-Nichols and Graham teams.
