At McLaughlin Research Corporation, we believe that our success is best measured by the strength of the communities we serve. This holiday season, we were honored to extend our reach across the United States, partnering with local organizations to provide essential support to families and individuals in need.
From the shores of the Atlantic to the Pacific Northwest, here is a look at the impact we made together this year.
Delivering Support Where It Matters Most
Our holiday giving initiative focused on three incredible organizations that provide a lifeline to their communities. We are proud to announce the following contributions:
- New London, CT: A donation of $1,250 to the Salvation Army, supporting their critical social services and holiday assistance program in the local communities.
- Poulsbo/Keyport, WA: A donation of $2,500 to Fishline, an organization dedicated to providing food, housing, and social services to locals.
- Newport, RI: A total contribution of $3,750 to the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Center (MLK Center) to help fund their comprehensive hunger relief and community programs.
A Heartfelt Connection in Newport
We were especially moved to receive a personal thank-you note from the team at the MLK Center in Newport. Beyond our monetary contribution, our team worked hard to coordinate a direct delivery of supplies to their pantry.
The MLK Center shared that our donation included:
- 544 pounds of food delivered directly to their shelves.
- $425 in gift cards to help families purchase fresh perishables and essential household items.
The scale of the MLK Center’s work is truly inspiring. This year alone, they were able to provide help to more than 8,700 people. Knowing that our contribution played a small part in that massive effort reinforces why we are so committed to this mission. We would like to thank our very own Christine Witkos for introducing us to the MLK Center after her years of volunteer work.
