Ralph “Baker” Turner brings significant experience spanning military operations, Navy headquarters, and the private sector to McLaughlin Research Corporation.
A U.S. Navy Supply Corps Officer, Baker has served more than seven years on active duty. His assignments included USS LA SALLE (AGF-3), the Navy Supply Corps School, and Multi-National Security Transition Command–Iraq. After an 18-year break in service, he returned to the Navy Reserve and recently served as Movement Control Officer for Combined Task Force 56, directly supporting Operation Epic Fury.
As a civilian, Baker spent more than 11 years at Navy headquarters on the staffs of the Chief of Naval Operations and the Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Research, Development and Acquisition. He joins MRC directly from United Natural Foods, Inc., where he focused on automation and reporting.
Baker holds a bachelor’s degree from UVA’s McIntire School of Commerce and an MBA from UVA’s Darden School of Business.
